Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Superstars Services Apps ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of the Football Stars Chat mobile application (the "App"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data-protection law of the Republic of North Macedonia.

1. Information we collect
a) Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and display name. Passwords are stored only in a securely hashed form — we never store your password in plain text.
b) User-generated content
We process the content and activity you generate in the App, such as your chat interactions, answers to in-app questions, and your progress through story timelines.
c) Analytics & diagnostics
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to detect and fix crashes. These tools may collect device and usage information such as device model, operating-system version, app version, language, in-app events, and crash logs. This data is used in an aggregated and diagnostic capacity.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To provide the App's core features (chats, stories, questions).
- To process and deliver in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- To analyse usage, improve performance, and fix bugs and crashes.
- To communicate with you about support requests and important service notices.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.

4. In-app purchases & subscriptions
The App offers paid digital content, including in-app purchases and/or subscriptions. Payments are processed by the app stores (Google Play and the Apple App Store) under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details; we receive only confirmation of a purchase and the information needed to grant your entitlement.
5. Sharing & third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the App, acting as our processors or independent controllers:
- Google LLC / Google Ireland — Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
- Google Play & Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app billing.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and the integrity of the App.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase your data ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in North Macedonia, the Agency for Personal Data Protection).

9. Deleting your account & data
You can delete your account and associated data at any time, either from within the App or by emailing us. See our dedicated Account & Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
10. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including hashed password storage and encrypted connections. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the App.
